Cost
How much does it cost to rent an SUV for delivery driving in Towaco, NJ?
$450 a week (USD) for either SUV, about $64 a day, with no mileage limit and maintenance included, plus a one-time application check on your first rental.
Every other charge is set out in the rental agreement you sign online.
Is there an application fee?
Yes, once. First-time renters pay a one-time application fee for an insurance check, a driving-history check and a license-status check.
Is there an application fee every time I renew?
No. Continuing rentals have no recurring application fee.
Is there a mileage limit?
No. Run as many shifts and orders as the week offers, with no per-mile charge.

Applying
Do I need to be signed up with a delivery or rideshare app?
Yes. All drivers must be enrolled in a delivery or rideshare app when they apply.
How do I sign the rental agreement?
Online: you go through the rental agreement and sign it online.
Maintenance
Who pays for maintenance?
SD Rental Empire does: it takes care of all maintenance on every car.
Driving
Do you deliver the car?
Yes. SD Rental Empire delivers your SUV and picks it up at the end, anywhere in New Jersey, for a flat $50.
Can I drive the car outside New Jersey?
No. Out-of-state driving is not allowed: if the car leaves New Jersey, the rental ends and a $250 fee applies.

Do I need my own E-ZPass?
Yes. Use your own E-ZPass; a toll run without one is passed to you with the toll authority’s fee, plus a $50 fee.
